A Result of Fogivness to Foreverness

"and teach them to obey everything I have commanded and taught you. Therefore, I will be with you always, even to the end of the Earth" - Matthew 28:20

God is always with us! He said so in His Word! There are loads of places he said so like in...

1. Joshua 1:5 "... just as I was with Moses so shall I be with you"
2.  Galatians 2:20 "...who loved me and gave himself for me"
3. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world. That he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not die spiritually but have God's life in them spiritually and physically"
4. Ephesians 2:4-5 "...Made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—"

There are so many ways that God can and does help us, strengthen's us and delivers us in times of troubles. The verse above talks about God always being with us forever, even though we're on Earth and Him in Heaven. Jesus Christ pays for every single Sin we do! He made us, if we choose to, to be with Him forever! But, we are still on Earth. We still have the advantage of dying. But on The Last Day, we will live with God forever! "After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
(1 Thessalonians 4:17) We won't be sitting on clouds in heaven! We will be with God! In "...the heavenly Jerusalem..." (Hebrews 12:22)! But to say thank you to God, for giving Jesus up, we must pray regularly and read our Bibles!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Acting on God's Word....

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.'" Any questions? OK. But HOW do I 'practice and do' what God's Word says?  You make sure that whatever it says, has effect on your life. What I mean to say is, make sur...

Pondering the Bible: How to deal with anger

"Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires." James 1:20 NLT http://bible.com/116/jas.1.20.nlt Let’s admit it, we all deal with anger sometimes. But some more than most. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable. This brings us to today’s question: How do you deal with anger?  Well, satan will always keep on trying to do things to make you angry. And as soon as you give in and never let it go, you have failed and satan can hold you back.  Here’s how to deal with it:  The Bible says that when you are angry you should not let it carry over to the next morning.  "And "don’t sin by letting anger control you." Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry," Ephesians 4:26 NLT http://bible.com/116/eph.4.26.nlt This means you may only be angry for some time. But I wouldn’t for long:  "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be...
