Title: Distractions are Traps Scripture: "You will keep him in perfect peace, he whose mind is fixed on You, because he trusts in You." - Isaiah 26:3 Are you easily distracted or distracted in worship or prayer? Instead of coming to church, do you spend time at discos or parties? Do you have another priority than Jesus? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, check your life. This is something I'm saying - not to offend you, but to try and guide in the right way, by the power of the Holy Spirit. You see, distractions are from the pit of Hell, and, he sends them especially when you are in church, listening to the Word or in prayer or worship. A child might start making annoying noises, an accident might happen on the street, hunger, a phone call, a bang might be heard and many other ways to distract you. People believe that once you answer the phone or give in to these distractions you can come back to prayer and worship. But when you come back, you don't c...

Title: Who is Your Priority? Scripture: " But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. " - Matthew 6:33 ESV  Did you know that the kingdom of God is Jesus? Very surprising, but true! I found this out in my study/prayer time.  'Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.'  Matthew 3:2  At this point, Jesus must have been close to the destination where John was. John was talking about two things: the Kingdom of God and His power, and Jesus. You see what I mean? Jesus is the Kingdom of God.  We say that we are Christians. But a large group of us are not who we say we are. Because the word Christian means of Christ. And to be of Christ, you must make Him your priority. But many don't! "Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6 NASB https://www.bible.com/en-GB/bible/100/PRO.22.6.nasb   Many people try to obey this verse, but do not succeed in doing it. What I mean is, they don't care about their child's behaviour or attitude but only telling them off and giving them 'advice'. When your child is frequently misbehaving, maybe yiu haven't guided them in the way they should go. 

He who did not spare his own Son,  but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" - Romans 8:32  Some of us think that after we're saved, that we can continue sinning. Paul wrote,  "What shall we say then, are we going to abide in sin just so grace may abound? Certainly not! We are dead to sin, how can we live any longer in it?" (Romans 6:1-2)  Exactly. How can we? If we don't belong to something, we can't be in it. Sin means 'going for enmity against God' and if we are for God, how can we suddenly now be against Him? Many people claim to have been sent by God, some we can trust, others we can't. Let's see what the Bible says:   " Beloved,  do not believe every spirit, but  test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for  many  false prophets  have gone out into the world." - 1 John 4:1. So, now we know that there are false prophets, false teachers,...

"You who brag and boast about the law dishonour God by breaking it" - Romans 2:23  Most of you would be thinking, but God tells us to obey His law? You are absolutely correct, but my point is to make known that Jesus and his commandment, that is the law. Why? Let us see what He said:  "' Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them.'" -  Matthew 5:17 NIV   Jesus has fulfilled the law and gave us a commandment: To Love One Another (John 13:34-35).  But what is love?  One thing should be clear, and remain very clear. YOU CANNOT LOVE WITHOUT GOD'S SPIRIT. The love the world claims to give is touch and go and does not last long. But love with God's Spirit, and you're in high skies. But love isn't just being kind and friendly, no, it is about obeying God and sustaining with Him until the end. True love is when you sacrifice things for others so that they...

"Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey -- whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?" - Romans 6:16  Please note that we are not God's slaves. We are His servants, but the version of this Bible describes it as slaves  When we obey God, it is a huge and very important thing to do. God tells us in His Word that obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22) . Obedience to God is important in our daily lives. In other terms, we should obey first, so that we do not need to be forgiven by Jesus. If God asked you to go to America where there are shootings, would you go? I would, rather than face the consequences. And, God would never let us be harmed, so no bullet will hit you! But God has to test you first and the Devil does to! I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right Hand" - Isaiah 41:10  GOD IS SPEAKING HERE! How do we know if God is with us? Good question again! These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires." - 1 Peter 2:4   So if God promises us that He'll protect us, it is true! "Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your Law." - Psalm 119:18 The psalmist is talking about God's Law. Which is His will. Some people do not understand, and this is mainly because of their type of mindset. What they think, what they say. " Nothing that enters somebody from the outside can defile someone; but the things that come out of a them , that is what defile s them" - Mark 7:15. As Christian, we represent God in His manner and our mission is to lead others to the Saviour. What we do and think and say, all have to be a part of God's Will. God may want someone to be an evangelist, but not to jump into it immediately. We should remember Who is in control. Jesus.  When the psalmist says "open my eyes", what does that mean?
