Being a Christian - Day 2 - Q&A

"Not in the habit of giving up meeting together..." - Hebrews 10:25

First of all, What is being a Christian all about?

A Christian is a heir of God. WE are on a mission to spreads three words around the world. "Jesus is alive" and explain all the gifts and blessings we are entitled to in Christ Jesus.

Why does a Christian have to go to Church?
A Christian is not a Christian without going to Church. As Paul quotes "Not in the habit of giving up meeting together..." (Hebrews 10:25) Jesus Christ went to church, almost everyday day! Jesus cared about Church. How do we know? "God's house [Church] is a house of prayer but you have made it a den of thieves!" (Matthew 21:13) We also get the benefit of hearing God's Word. God's Word is like the most precious pearl in the world. Going to Church is also a way of saying thank you to Jesus for dying on the cross. Titus 2:14 says "He gave Himself for us, by doing this He redeemed us from the bondage of Sin" When we go to Church we learn more about God. Everybody learns about God, everyday.

Can't I be a Christian and not go to church?
No! It is impossible! God wants us to pay attention daily to what He has to say in your life! God's Word is a very precious tool that if we handle it playfully, we shall get severe harm  from the Enemy. When we meet together we can break the bonds that the Enemy has tied around us. Jesus went to Church daily.

Dictionaries, Thesauruses and other religious bodies have got it all wrong. Christianity is not a religion! It is a life of inheritance! Yes, it is the life of the Son of God given to us to live!

Before you ask this question you must ask yourself, am I pure? Have I sinned by mistake and need forgiveness? Or are my thoughts starting to make my light darken? Ask yourself these questions and their surely will be an answer.  But why must I ask myself these questions?  " So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart" - 2 Timothy 2:22    If we are not thinking good thoughts or have sinned by mistake or not, we have sta...

Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

What is the wisdom of the world to God? FOOLISHNESS!

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.” 1 Corinthians 3:19 KJV http://bible.com/1/1co.3.19.kjv You see, for new born believers, it takes a while for the fact that they cannot be loved by or be part of the world. Unfortunately, this is usually found out after devastating consequences. In this chapter of 1 Corinthians, verse 19, Paul talks about the Wisdom of God being foolishness to the world. This portrays the relationship between a Christian and the world. THEIR SHOULD'NT BE ONE. No-one can sit on the fence. For those of you trying, you still will belong to the darkness. Until you take a step of faith to reach the light, you and your darkness remain. After becoming a Christian, you are made holy. But maintenance and discipline are needed to keep the holiness and remain pure. People begin to defile this holiness by continuing and re-doing their past life! Don't follow them! Remain pure!  ...
