We still live in the flesh, and act on what we see, hear, smell, taste, and what we can touch. We need to begin to live above the level of ‘normality’. In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul was explaining to the Corinthians how he couldn’t feed them with the spiritual meat because they still operated at the carnal level. As much as he wanted to feed them the spiritual meat, Paul couldn’t because they were putting their mental ability into their Christianity, which, as we know, can not work. Let’s read it: “Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. Yo

“The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD —” Isaiah 11:2 NIV http://bible.com/111/isa.11.2.niv Here, Isaiah is talking about the mind of Christ. Jesus is the mind of Christ, and this is the focus in this verse. The mind of Christ is what enables us to do the will if God and be like Jesus. But many of us refuse to put on the mind of Christ, because we are carnal. If you are still ruled by your five senses, you are indirectly refusing to put on the mind of Christ. When we put on the mind of Christ, we become extraordinary Christ beings. But we still act like mere humans! In fact, Paul said this same thing too, in 1 Corinthians chapter 3: “Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among

We may seem to be following it, but we’re not. Can God commit sins? But we do. Can God do opposite to his Will? But we do. Just think about that. Are you REALLY following God?

But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. We should be strong, as the end time signals are more fierce than before. Satan is looking for someone to devour, a prey. Satan is always checking your door. If your door is not locked, satan can easily creep in. You MUST keep your door locked. As Christians, we should stay watchful and prepared spiritually and physically for the enemy’s attacks. We are not of those who operate by our five senses, we operate above that realm. We operate (or should operate) in the spiritual realm, a higher realm. But, there are some of us, who still do not realise the world is coming to an end. They are still holding onto the passing away things of the world. And then they are destroyed. It’s shocking, but true. We don’t believe. Jesus has come to resurrect us, but we refuse to accept him. It’s like refusing medicine for a disease. It’s your fault if you keep the disease! Jesus has given us everything we need, but it’s because we are not serious with God that we don’t have everything we need. Let’s get serious!

After all, Jesus has all power in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth. That’s what the Bible tells me: “Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18 NET http://bible.com/107/mat.28.18.net In verse 26 of James chapter 1, we can see that our tongues are the issue. This is where satan gets his power from. Which is why he encourages negative talk. Maybe your legs are tired, and you say “My legs are killing me”. Now satan can use your own words against you. So when you start having leg ulcer don’t blame the devil, but your mouth. We also say things like, “If I tell my boss, he’ll kill me!”. He certainly will. And it’s your mouth’s fault. You’ve now given satan permission to use your boss

The evil is like a cloud which covers the whole earth. It is the grace of God that is why we are  still alive. We need God for the big things, like money, and the little things from eating food to driving a car. The power of God; God himself is in us enabling us to withstand the evil.
