“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”
James 5:16 AMPC

The prayers of a righteous person are ones that have power to change things. But this prayer is earnest, persistence and consistent. Many of us struggle when praying and find it a battle. But it shouldn’t be a battle at all! It’s a main part of the Christian’s identity: prayer. It is how we not only connect withGod but with the spirit realm. Jesus told us to pray always:
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Matthew 26:41 KJV

Let’s start being spiritually alert.
