To Serve - Truth of the Day

“just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:28

TRUTH FOR TODAY: 
Pride has overtaken every man and can only be defeated through Jesus. 

There has been a deceitful, evil creature that has lured underneath the human skin since the befall of Adam. Pride. It was the opposite of God’s nature; and when it has its way, it can cause detestation and torture. When Jesus came, as God, when He died on the cross, He defeated the luring creature. He showed us that we should serve one another, and to surrender to God. God first, people second and you last.

Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
