BIBLE BYTE: Overcomers!

““Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.”

Many of us seem to struggle with trusting in God. We know it’s the right thing to don we just don’t know how. Well, what is faith? Let’s ask Paul: “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”

Now, faith can only come through Jesus. We have to rely on Him, which means forgetting the problem and letting God solve it. This is how we overcome the world! “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.”
1 John 5:4-5 NLT

You can only overcome that problem when you believe in Jesus!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life.
