BLINDED BY GREED

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Many people focus on the second part of the verse instead of the first. We should not be selfish! Many of us are blinded by our greed for money and only follow Christianity for gain and profit, like Paul said: “These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy.”
1 Timothy 6:5 NLT

Our blindness blinds us from seeing where we are going. It fills us with pride and this is what satan likes. Let’s not be blinded, and let’s not be greedy!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!
