Purification!

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart - 2 Timothy 2:22 ESV


Today I wanted to talk about purification. We must 'fire' or purify ourselves with God's Word. We must read it with revelation, by reading on it and thinking about it. Meditate means to think upon. Meditate on God's Word! A good way to keep notes about Scriptures is to get a small journal (I would recommend A5) where you can write down your revelations from God's Word and/or dreams and visions.

Acting on God's Word....

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
