Q&A: What is God's Way?

Q&A: What is God’s way?

Lately, I’ve been reading Psalm 103 and I came across this verse:

“He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” (verse 7)

God’s way is His Will. And He can tell us His Will through His Word. We obey His Will and become wise by reading and obeying His Word. And if God’s way is His Word, this means that God’s way is Himself. How do I know?

“Before the world began, there was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

Did you see? God’s way is himself, which means if we want to go His way, we follow HIM. God’s way is himself. And as soon as we know Him, we can walk in His glory and enjoy this life that Jesus Christ has given us. Now, let me point out knowing ABOUT God is different than knowing Him. As Christians, we should know God as children know their father. How do we know Him inside out? By knowing His Word’s. And we know His Word’s by revelation and NOT by information from the head. But what happens when you know your God?

“But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” – (Daniel 11:32 NKJV)

You see? It is only when you KNOW God, that you can perform great exploits.

THINK: Do you know God? Do you write His Word in your heart or are you just giving information off from your head? Are you guided by the Holy Spirit? Think about this.

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

The Power In The Name

"There is none like God...who rides through Heaven to your help, through the skies in His majesty" - Deuteronomy 33:26  Many of us expect an answer when we pray - immediately. We try to control God  thinking we know best, when God does. But if the Holy Spirit lives in us, patience live in us too, because it is of the Spirit (Gal  5:22 ). We have everything we ever need or ever will need - the only thing you have to do is activate it. The power in the name of Jesus, as soon as you activate it, is ready and available to use. Anyone can say Jesus, but they can't use its power because it's either:  A) not given to them or  B) they don't believe.  What can I do to activate the power?  To activate this power, you need faith and full relying on God. No matter what, even in temptation. You see, a Christian's life is one with more temptation. But that's good - because:  A) We overcome them all!  B) It's when we show and display J...

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...
