Q&A: How can we love?

"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen." - 1 John 4:20

Liar! If you don't love, you are a liar! Love can only come by the Holy Spirit who lives in us. Remember Galatians 5:22? Let's read it closely:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness," - Galatians 5:22

Notice how the verse says the fruit of the SPIRIT! Who is that Spirit? The HOLY SPIRIT of course! So what does this mean? It is only through God's Spirit that anyone can love! That is why a sinner cannot love. They can be 'kind', but it is not the love that lasts forever! Love can only come through the Holy Spirit which lives in you!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

Christ Died For Me! Romans 5:8

"But God shows His love for us on that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" - Romans 5:8 Sin. God. Not friends. God tells us to love one another, but we only have one enemy. Satan.
