Q&A: How do I have faith?

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬


How do we have faith and diligently seek God? To have faith, we must love. God gave us a great commandment to love. Love is only shown when things ARE NOT rosy, NOT when everything is nice but hectic! When everything is rosy it is easy to love and act out God's virtues. Faith is love. It perseveres through all trials. No wonder Paul said,

Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love. - 1 Corinthians 13:13

 Faith brings hope and then that brings love. Meaning, faith is love! Want more proof? The Bible says that God is love. Ephesians 5:1 says to imitate God. This means that to love is to have faith! Because believing in God is basically believing in love! And that means we can have faith!
