Passers by!

“Be happy with the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭GW‬‬
Obeying God will give us our heart desire- IF we do it with God's Spirit and our desire is worthy to bring to God (e.g don't ask for someone or die,). God knows everything, including those thoughts in our hearts. What else does He not know? Satan has blinded these people so that they may not know about God's GLORIOUS Truth! If everyone knew about it, the streets would be filled with people everyday. Almost everybody has been told about Jesus coming to dave the world. They recite it as some type of fairy tale. But that was only the beginning! The end result was to make us heirs in Christ and in God! When we become Heirs in God, we are Over comers and reign with God! If we reign with God, what's the point of listening and paying too much attention to the people in this world when you reign? A pastor once said: "The Christians are passers by in this world" Passers By!

The Power In The Name

"There is none like God...who rides through Heaven to your help, through the skies in His majesty" - Deuteronomy 33:26  Many of us expect an answer when we pray - immediately. We try to control God  thinking we know best, when God does. But if the Holy Spirit lives in us, patience live in us too, because it is of the Spirit (Gal  5:22 ). We have everything we ever need or ever will need - the only thing you have to do is activate it. The power in the name of Jesus, as soon as you activate it, is ready and available to use. Anyone can say Jesus, but they can't use its power because it's either:  A) not given to them or  B) they don't believe.  What can I do to activate the power?  To activate this power, you need faith and full relying on God. No matter what, even in temptation. You see, a Christian's life is one with more temptation. But that's good - because:  A) We overcome them all!  B) It's when we show and display J...

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...

Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!
