The Word of God Prt 2


“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭NKJV‬
 This is proof that Jesus came as the Word of God. The disciples spoke with the Word, talked and even ate with the Word yet they didn't understand Him. This shows, no matter how long you spend in God's Word, you cannot understand It unless God speaks to you and interprets it. It may not mean what you think it means. God's Word can only be understood by His Spirit which is Him!

I wanted to talk a little bit more on faith. When Paul writes 'dwell in your hearts through faith' what does it mean? This means that we have to show our confidence and belief in Christ, before He comes into our hearts. He knows when we want to trick Him or not. So don't bother being cunning! Because wisdom comes from the Lord! So, if our human efforts cannot make faith to work, what can? (Zechariah 4:6) Our confidence and belief in Jesus! We just have to say, "Jesus, take care of this for me. I don't want to any more. I can't do it by my own power." Acknowledging that you can't do it alone, gives you the first step forward.
