Pleasing to God

"16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."- Hebrews 13:16

We need to start thinking about what is pleasing to God. I think I may have done this verse before but it's one I really wanted to talk about. Some of the things we do, we hardly care if they please God or not. We don't acknowledge him as much as we should do in our daily lives. Start being pleasing t God!

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
