Stop - Day 6 - Letting your Guard Down

"7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" - 2 Timothy 4:7

We, as Christians, need to stop letting our guard down. Whenever we don't pray, we're letting our guard down. When we do not read God's Word, believe in it and confess it we are letting our guard down. STOP letting your guard down!

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
