The Word of God cleanses!

12 God’s word is alive and working. It is sharper than a sword sharpened on both sides. It cuts all the way into us, where the soul and the spirit are joined. It cuts to the center of our joints and our bones. And God’s word judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ICB)

God's Word is the Sword of the Spirit, and as we see in our verse, it is double edged and cuts through bone and marrow, which is why we must read it and believe it as it can cleanse our souls.

Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.
