From PROUD to HUMBLE!

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

We all know that Nebuchadnezzar wasn't very easy to work with. In fact, he was probably the most stubborn man in the world! But God was merciful. Very merciful to him, as he could have killed the king on the spot. When Daniel and the three Hebrew boys stood up to him- they had this verse in mind: 
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. - Acts 20:24
They considered life worthless and said: 'Even if God will not help me or not, I am still going to honour Him.' They denied themselves for Christ, and did not try to save their lives. They obeyed no matter what! Plus, it proves that what Jesus said was right: 
For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. - Matthew 16:25

Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

Put on the armour! The Armour! The Armour! The Armour of God!

' Order the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle! Harness the horses, and mount up you horsemen! Stand forth with your helmets , polish the spears, put on the armour!  - Jeremiah 46: 3-4 This verse talk about a battle. Not a battle of the physical (the seen) but a battle of the spiritual (the unseen). We need to stand up in the faith! We must defend ourselves from the enemy! "Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8. What do we need to do to shield us from the enemy? How do we stop "the roaring lion"  from attacking us? Here's the good news! God has given us an armour!
