From PROUD to HUMBLE!

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

We all know that Nebuchadnezzar wasn't very easy to work with. In fact, he was probably the most stubborn man in the world! But God was merciful. Very merciful to him, as he could have killed the king on the spot. When Daniel and the three Hebrew boys stood up to him- they had this verse in mind: 
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. - Acts 20:24
They considered life worthless and said: 'Even if God will not help me or not, I am still going to honour Him.' They denied themselves for Christ, and did not try to save their lives. They obeyed no matter what! Plus, it proves that what Jesus said was right: 
For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. - Matthew 16:25

Acting on God's Word....

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
