Maintaining the Being Sinless Ability

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! - Romans 5:15 NIV 

Whoa. Today I want you to go and meditate on this verse. Think through what it means. I'll give my thoughts: 


Basically, this verse is talking about the death of Adam brought sin. And the gift that came from Christ destroyed sin. This means that we are sinless. But God couldn't just leave it there! So he gave us the ability to be sinless AND MAINTAIN IT! We can do this by reading His Word and obeying it, and we can also keep praying to stop Satan's attacks. And I mean commanding prayer!

8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. (‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬ KJV) In this verse, David is actually having a revelation about Jesus from the Holy Ghost. Let me explain. You see- as Christians, Jesus is the one who is before us. The One we follow. He is at our right hand and protects us. And because of Him, we are not moved. The Lord is you Leader, Provider and Guide. Without him, your steps would be without guide and you would have no knowledge of the path you are taking. You would be vulnerable to Satan and he will be able to destroy you. But-thank God- he can't destroy us. Christ lives in us, the most powerful Thing ever!
