Many people disobey this verse. Most of them unknowingly. You may wonder: how? They disobey by not waiting for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, before they start a ministry. This is why many ministries have financial and maybe emotional break downs, leading to marriage issues and family split ups. It just ends up in a mess. So, be hungry for the Holy Ghost by showing Him that you love Him, reading His Word (Acts 2, especially) and waiting!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

Christ Died For Me! Romans 5:8

"But God shows His love for us on that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" - Romans 5:8 Sin. God. Not friends. God tells us to love one another, but we only have one enemy. Satan. The person who wants to wipe out mankind forever. One of his main servants is Sin. Something that cannot get is close to God. But how does he bait us in? How? Worldly pleasures.
