Many of us don't understand sometimes why sicknesses come upon us, or why they don't leave. According to this verse, it's not Satan, it's you! We don't know that our words have power - and by condemning sicknesses or diseases upon yourself you gave Satan authority to do as you said. Don't call any sickness or disease you'd! Calling that arthritis 'my arthritis' is saying it belongs to you. You give more power to Satan. It is you who gives Satan the power - otherwise he is powerless!

Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable.
