WRONG DOCTRINES!

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Matthew 16:24 KJV

Man Christians make a great mistake when thinking they can be a part time Christian. Christianity is not a lifestyle, or a way of life, it is the life of God given by God for you to live! So, when you decide to follow Jesus, you are not yourself anymore. You MUST live for Christ. In everything you do. EVERYTHING!
You cannot live in the world still. You cannot do all the things you used to do, as a sinner. Jesus must rule now, and what He says, you obey. There is a very wrong doctrine being preached that needs to be stopped.
Many say, the sins that you have committed and will commit God has forgiven.
WRONG!
God forgave your sins, and He made you righteous. He made you sinless; and you want to ruin the righteousness? This actually brings conflict against what the Bible says:

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,”
Hebrews 10:26 KJV
http://bible.com/1/heb.10.26.kjv

And we say we are Christians? There is also another wrong doctrine which needs to be stopped.
When you want to commit a sin, you are allowed to do it as long as you ask God for forgiveness afterwards. And you know it is a sin. And after keeping the rewards of that sin, you begin to shed crocodile tears of how sorry you are to God.
WRONG!
This (again) goes against the Word:

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,”
Hebrews 10:26 KJV
http://bible.com/1/heb.10.26.kjv

As Christians we need to be careful of what we hear and see. We need to be careful of what we allow into our spirits. The Bible says that Jesus did not judge by what He heard or saw, and we must be like Jesus.

“And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:”
Isaiah 11:3 KJV
http://bible.com/1/isa.11.3.kjv

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”
Philippians 2:5 KJV

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Acting on God's Word....

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.'" Any questions? OK. But HOW do I 'practice and do' what God's Word says?  You make sure that whatever it says, has effect on your life. What I mean to say is, make sur...

Pondering the Bible: How to deal with anger

"Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires." James 1:20 NLT http://bible.com/116/jas.1.20.nlt Let’s admit it, we all deal with anger sometimes. But some more than most. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable. This brings us to today’s question: How do you deal with anger?  Well, satan will always keep on trying to do things to make you angry. And as soon as you give in and never let it go, you have failed and satan can hold you back.  Here’s how to deal with it:  The Bible says that when you are angry you should not let it carry over to the next morning.  "And "don’t sin by letting anger control you." Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry," Ephesians 4:26 NLT http://bible.com/116/eph.4.26.nlt This means you may only be angry for some time. But I wouldn’t for long:  "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be...
