What is Spiritual Blindness? and What does beware of false prophets mean?

"Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your Law." - Psalm 119:18

The psalmist is talking about God's Law. Which is His will. Some people do not understand, and this is mainly because of their type of mindset. What they think, what they say. "Nothing that enters somebody from the outside can defile someone; but the things that come out of a them , that is what defiles them" - Mark 7:15. As Christian, we represent God in His manner and our mission is to lead others to the Saviour. What we do and think and say, all have to be a part of God's Will. God may want someone to be an evangelist, but not to jump into it immediately. We should remember Who is in control. Jesus.  When the psalmist says "open my eyes", what does that mean? Jesus answers this question with the teachers of the law in John 9: 39-41:
'Jesus said, “I came into this world so that the world could be judged. I came so that the blind could see and so that those who see will become blind.” Some of the Pharisees were near Jesus. When they heard him say this, they asked, “What? Are you saying that we are blind, too?”  Jesus said, “If you were really blind, you would not be guilty of sin. But now that you say you can see, your guilt remains.” '

When Jesus talked about blindness, He was talking about not seeing the light. Not seeing that Jesus was the Son of God, sent to save. Satan had blinded them so that they could defile, have a wrong mindset, and make sure they are over the limit on self-reliance. He fills them up them up with so much pride, they think they can over power. And Satan uses one, famous, but also can-be-bent reality. Christianity. This is because so many people are looking for a way out, and would do anything to, if it has anything to do with Christianity. This diverses  many people, and shows us what Jesus meant in Matthew 7:15. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

This verse shows not to hear and absorb what everyone else is. We should see with our spiritual eyes, (which should be OPENED) for any enemy diversions or attacks. We, as Christians are not like other people. We are a chosen generation (1 Peter 2:9). The Bible says in 1 John 1:6 not to believe everything we see or hear as chosen people. "1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error." - 1 John 1:6

This is powerful! I advise every Christian to read this to understand God's warning written out, clearly, by John the Divine. Beware of false Prophets!

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Hold onto Faith

Verse: "We don't fight against the people on this earth, but against the powers, principalities and against the rulers of darkness in the spiritual realm" - Ephesians 6:12 Message: Many people blame each other for tragedies that have happened to them or their relatives. But we have only one adversary: Satan and his agents. Why? Let scripture answer that: "And the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." - 2 Corinthians 4:4 But we are not of the world, but are in it to save those who are lost: " The world would love you if you belonged to it; but you don’t—for I chose you to come out of the world, and so it hates you." - John 15:19 Most people have different excuses for why we should be of the world instead of Jesus. Here are a few with biblical answers: 1. I get laughed at. And my friend left me. Jesu...
