REPEL SIN TO THE DEVIL! Psalms 105:1

"Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done" - Psalms 105:1
Proclaim. Give thanks. Tell. The Devil's power. He has no power! He just twists what God has created! He uses tricks to lure us in. To take the bait. And if we do fall into these tricks, we give the Devil the power God gave us. We all should stand firm and DEFEAT him. We can do this by facing life's storms with God's Word. There are many ways to defeat the Devil using God's Power. One is giving thanks. We rob the Devil of his stolen power. When we give thanks. Even in the bad times. Even when you see a spiritual storm. You say: "Lord, thank you for taking away this storm" in the worse of it all. Satan, once you let him, can twist the fruits of your heart into something else. And it all starts with...Pride. And selfish ambitions. (Galatians 5:20). The same thing that cast the Devil out of Heaven. He thought he was equal to God. Isaiah 14:12-15 has the full story: "How you are fallen from heaven,  O shining star, son of the morning!
You have been thrown down to the earth,  you who destroyed the nations of the world.
For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars.
I will preside on the mountain of the gods  far away in the north.
I will climb to the highest heavens  and be like the Most High.’
Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead,  down to its lowest depths." Some people (i.e Lucifer (The Devil)) think they can run the race without Jesus with them. We must not listen to the Devil! REPEL SIN TO THE DEVIL! **New** Recommended Reads:

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...
