WHY DID GOD KILL MY MOTHER? 😡

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Isaiah 26:3 NIV
http://bible.com/111/isa.26.3.niv

As Christians, we are like magnets, attracting good things (as prescribed by the Word). If only the people on the street knew about what God has given us in Christ. But, the Bible must stay true:

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:4 NIV

If everyone knew about Christ, church services would be held on the street. The Holy Spirit is the leader of the church. If there is no Holy Spirit in a church, there is no church. This is why many churches collapse. Because they are just buildings full of people. It is the wisdom of God that brings one to a place where the Holy Spirit is. As Christians, everything in this world will fight against you and what you've got. But stand up - keep the faith! Many people blame God for the injury or death of someone, and ask 'Why did God allow it?'. Well, I'm telling you now, it wasn't God. Haven't you read? Only good and perfect gifts come from above:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17 NIV
http://bible.com/111/jas.1.17.niv

So, where does everything bad and imperfect come from? Where else, but down below. Let me back it up with John:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10 NIV
http://bible.com/111/jhn.10.10.niv.

So you see, God never created anyone to be poor or to suffer. Everyone was meant to succeed. But that serpent, that bending snake, changed people's lives and made bend like he does. There are powers which cause men to bow.

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

Put on the armour! The Armour! The Armour! The Armour of God!

' Order the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle! Harness the horses, and mount up you horsemen! Stand forth with your helmets , polish the spears, put on the armour!  - Jeremiah 46: 3-4 This verse talk about a battle. Not a battle of the physical (the seen) but a battle of the spiritual (the unseen). We need to stand up in the faith! We must defend ourselves from the enemy! "Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8. What do we need to do to shield us from the enemy? How do we stop "the roaring lion"  from attacking us? Here's the good news! God has given us an armour! The Armour of God (or AOG for short) in Ephesians 6:14-17 talks about this armour what we should wear, do and understand! " Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readine...

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...
