CAREFUL!

“And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.”

What is Jesus saying here? Jesus is saying, it’s better to obey His Will and drop your evil nature. He is also saying that if you don’t obey His Will, but are destined for the Kingdom, He will make sure you get in, but a part of you will be gone. It may be physical like being crippled or blind, or spiritual.  Careful!

This means that we have to show our confidence and belief in Christ, before He comes into our hearts. He knows when we want to trick Him or not. So don't bother being cunning!
