Truth must be activated!

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; [1] his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23 This verse is what we should obey, everyday. God's mercies are new every morning, fresh. Meaning we never run out of blessings and God's faithfulness is definitely great! The steadfast love of God never ceases, but it doesn't mean we should sin. Sinning is against God law and we know it! Once we become Christians and know the Truth, the Truth will only make us free when we activate it. Truth must be activated!

Make your choice....

“ For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” – 2 Corinthians 4:20 God is saying here that we shouldn’t be people who gossip or talk about others, or believe what people say. Philippians 2:5 says we should be like Jesus and Isaiah explains Jesus here: A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;     from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. 2  The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—     the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,     the Spirit of counsel and of might,     the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord — 3  and he will delight in the fear of the Lord . He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,     or decide by what he hears with his ears; 4  but with righteousness he will judge the needy,     with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;     with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. 5  Righteousness will be his belt     and faithfulnes

Where God wants you to be. Plus: finishing of story

"Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honour." - Proverbs 21:21 ESV When we find righteousness and honour (from God) it is because we have obeyed what He said and been where He wanted us to be or do what He wanted us to do. When you persevere and go on for God, you will know it was worth it once the reward is at the end. Paul said: "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." - Philippians 3:14 NLT. We should never worry but trust God, knowing that we need to get where God wants us to be or do what He wants us to do, no matter what. On with the story.... You stand there shivering in the icy, cold wind. You've tried and tried to get the car working. No mechanics around your area are available at this time in the morning. But you love getting to church early! You pray quietly and wait for 30 minutes.  The wind blows against your face, l

Show the Devil he Made a Mistake!

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord , make me dwell in safety." - Psalm 4:8 ESV The place where God wants us to be, is the place where God is and where He can provide us safety. Satan always wants to pull us out of the place where of wants us to be. For example... You are going to church. Little do you know, God is about to perform something miraculous and His presence will be so strong and your money problems will be solved. But the devil doesn't like that one bit! He makes your car battery run down. You can't walk- it's too long. Taxi will cost too much. Oh no! It doesn't seem like you'll ever get to church! Satan will put you in position where you will seem helpless and will prevent you from achieving your destiny in Christ, or stopping your from being where God wants you to be. Satan knows that if you reach your potential in Christ, it will be almost impossible for him to get to you when you are deep in God. And I me

Standing on the Rock

“That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬ It is everyone duty, as the writer of Ecclesiastes tells us, to fear God and obey His commands. But why doesn't everyone obey them, you may ask? Well, God doesn't FORCE you to follow Him. But when you do follow Him an He has shown himself to you in a miraculous way, no matter what happens, you will keep walking with Jesus and resist that temptation. When you  are where God wants you to be, the Devil will use anything to pull you out of there because he knows that that is a place of healing, deliverance and a place of God. The Devil will use friends, offence, conflict, accidents to stop you from getting to your destinations or to get you out. But these things will come but when you stand firm on the Word of God and the Spirit of Christ is inside you, not one offence, conflict, friend or accident can stop you from being who and

What about Jesus?

“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Most of the time we grumble, complain and moan about life. Who's done it? We all have. But when we moan, we never think about the suffering of Jesus. Jesus didn't moan an grumble at God! Jesus took our sacrifice and pain and died for us. Us people who rebelled miilions and millions of times, and God gave us millions and millions of chances. God could have given up on us. But we just stand there and sit there monaing, grumbling and complaining. What about Jesus?

Trust in Psalm 91!

Verse: I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence. - Psalm 91:2-3 In Him I will trust. Wow. Such powerful words. It would be so easy to say this-but to actually mean it it is at least 10 times harder. I mean- put yourself in this position: You've just got back from  the hospital, your baby is in your hands. It suddenly stops breathing and its face goes cold. What do you do? Most people would worry and get anxious or maybe even give up completely about their child. But would your really obey Psalm 91:2-3? Will you really trust in Him? Trust in God? Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 19:26: "...everything is possible with God". Everything is possible with God! Restoration of life is possible, money in the bank is possible, that new job you want is possible! BUT THESE CAN ONLY HAPPEN WHEN YOU OBEY PSALM 91:2-3! Obeying God's Word a

Life is no joke!

“They equip God’s servants so that they are completely prepared to do good things.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:17 GWT We need to be prepared. Prepared for this horrid, horrible life on earth. Killings, killings and more killings. Hatred, hatred and more hatred. God's servants are equipped with the Armour of God to go into a dangerous world. This world is more dangerous than we think! Satan is more on the prowl than he has ever been before! Let's read 1 Peter 5:8, “Keep your mind clear, and be alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion as he looks for someone to devour.” ‭‭He is on the prowl and this is no joke! Life is no game! It's not for drugs, or meeting mates or going to church to sing hymns on a Sunday. No! GAZILLION TIMES NO!!!! It is time to suit up with the armour of God to go into this dangerous world. One question- a lion is prowling around your house. You decide to go out there and tell it off-with just your normal clothes. The lion will tak

Mustard Seed Tree

“First, you must understand this: In the last days people who follow their own desires will appear. These disrespectful people will ridicule ⌊God’s promise⌋” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭GW‬‬ Peter is talking about what will happen in the last days, NOW! People are following their own desires and twisting and bending the Bible to prove themselves 'right'. But in reality, they are foolishly proving themselves wrong. Even MORE wrong. When we read the Bible, we are allowed to explain its meaning but not prove something you know God wouldn't like. If you know that what you want you want to prove will not agree with Jesus, don't do it! You will have to recall the reason why when you get judged by God! The Bible is the Word of God, and if we bend it It and try to use It to prove the wrong ways or desires we are sinning. The Word of God is like a mustard seed. Teeny! But then it grows to be a humongous tree! When we start with little faith and belief on the Word, we start growing. We

Count your blessings!

“Abram asked, “Almighty LORD, what will you give me? Since I’m going to die without children, Eliezer of Damascus will inherit my household. You have given me no children, so this member of my household will be my heir.” Suddenly, the LORD spoke his word to Abram again. He said, “This man will not be your heir. Your own son will be your heir.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭15:4 GW Sometime we just go blabbering on about the things we don't have. We go, "Uh! I don't have a really good Xbox!" Or "My laptop's broken! I don't have any money!". Abram was starting to do this. God had to speak to him and tell Abram he was looking at the wrong thing! Abram needed to know that he needed to count his blessings. You might say, "I don't have any blessings!" but you do! God has given you a life which is a gift and does NOT belong to you. God has given you this life for HIS purpose, but He doesn't force you to believe in Him. In fact, God let's you decide

The Scapegoat and Sacrifice

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1 Genesis 1-3 talks about God's creation of man-Adam and Eve. Adam fell in spirit, and died in spirit. He couldn't rely on God anymore, but on his 5 senses only. Adam couldn't come close to God anymore because His presence had now become dangerous.  Wait, if God's presence is good, how can it be dangerous? God is like the sun, the thing that shines down and gives us sunlight. It is good, because we get Vitamin D from it. But if something gets to close to it...BOOM! If we are impure or 'unclean' and decide to come into God's presence just like that, you will surely be wiped out! Adam was now impure-sinful because He disobeyed God's commandment. After Adam had sinned, God hadn't finished yet. God provided away for people to 'replace responsibility' of sins. This is explained in the book of Leviticus where there are rules on sacrifices that cover up and wipe away your si

Christians CAN learn!

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24 | NIV Some of us think we are wise when we are not. Instead, we don't know much about God or enough about Him but keep showing off. In fact, life is not ours. It is a gift from God and He has the right to give it and take it away. Job questioned God. He cursed His own life, an God showed Him that the way we see things today, is totally different to how GOD sees them. Job is an example of who we can learn from and stop questioning and start LEARNING. Christians LEARN and grow in God. Job was an Israelite, someone who 'knew' God. Job found out he didn't know God, but he learnt more about Him. Even a highly-favoured Christian can learn from others, their mistakes, and God. Christians are always growing and learning if they are keeping up to date with their duties. God takes us from glory to glory! "...are being transformed

Don't worry! Trust!

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight - 1 Peter 3:3-4. A gentle and quiet spirit is one in the care of the Lord. When we are in the care of Jesus, nothing else matters. We don't need to worry about the things of the world for these things don't matter! We are in the care of the Creator of the universe! A God that is more powerful than our brains can think or imagine! When we become Christians, we don't care about what's happening in the world! Jesus is the Son of God with great power and might! Jesus is almighty and the world is under His feet! What reason do you have to worry? None! When Jesus is on top (which He always is), there is no reason to worry! In fact, worrying is going to make a problem worse! Let's not worry but trust! -------

God's Power

“With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭ICB God's power can do a lot than what we think or imagine. God can do, as the ICB translation puts it, much, much more than we can imagine. God has clever and smart ways of helping us and providing for us in trouble. He will do it in a way that you will be surprised at. Or even that you wouldn't believe! Jesus is the one that should be glorified in church. So why do Catholics pray to Mary? Now I advise if you are a Catholic to stop reading and unfollow me. What I am about to write is truth. Tough truth. Anyway... Catholics are very wrong to put Mary as someone to pray too. God says in Exodus 20:3 "You must not have any other gods except me." A god is something that is either in-line or above Jesus in your life.  It can also be an image or 'god

Double-edged sword

“When I worried about many things, your assuring words soothed my soul.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭94:19‬ ‭GW‬‬T When we worry, it is either of doubt or fear. Worry is not of God. Peace is and this is one of the fruit of the Spirit mention in Galatians 5:22. God's Word is sharper than any double-edged sword and is much more powerful than any weapon in the world! Why go buy a physical gun or weapon when you have this Sword? There really is no point! God has given you more authority than you can ever imagine and you want to "underestimate" it? Whoa man, dangerous choice, dangerous mission. You cannot walk with God without His Word! The simple letters in the Bible cannot save you! It is the Word of God in your spirit that can save you and it is only God that can help you! God is the real person that can help you, the only person that created you and knows you truly! No-one in this world knows you more than God, I promise you that! When the Word of God has been given to you as well as t

Let your faith grow!

But if a person has doubts and still eats, he is condemned because he didn’t act in faith. Anything that is not done in faith is sin. - Romans 14:23 Whoa. That verse is powerful. Anything done without faith is sin. I read this this morning and thought it would be a great verse for today. If we don't preach, act or evangelise in faith, we, as Christians, are sinning against God. Everything a Christian does must be done in FAITH! In FAITH, not FEAR! Everything we do must be done in FAITH. We must: * Pray, * Eat, * Sleep, and do everything else in faith. God wants us to live and work in faith. A Christian's walk with God has to be one of faith and not of doubt. We don't walk in faith! God says that faith is like a mustard seed, and once planted and watered, grows to be strong and great. Once we activate faith, it can be the smallest, but we have planted a seed of faith which, if we choose to, can grown and grow and be the strongest its ever been! Faith grows! You cannot

All because of God,

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. - Romans 12:9 When we love God, we should think of it as: - [ ] Hating what is evil - [ ] Showing uttermost sincerity and seriousness to God. - [ ]  Clinging to Him, because He is good. God wants us to respect Him and cling on to what is good. Let me just throw in Proverbs 10:29: "The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,     but it is the ruin of those who do evil.". When God means ruin, He means that it will not 'fit' them who are in charge of evil (aka Satan and his demons). The Way of God does not work for demons. They know it is true and right and will lead people to Heaven. And they don't want that. So they divert people off the main road-the road to God! Satan will come with lies, doubts, anything really! All to get you down to hell. Satan knows how much God has given you-His own life to live! God's own life! Psalm 82:6 says that we gods and we reign and rule with God at

In FAITH not FEAR!

When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. - Psalm 56:3  This verse may seem small but its message is very powerful. When you are afraid. This could mean when you are in doubt, are anxious and full of fear. When I  afraid, I put my trust in You. Say it! "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You". Saying scripture and speaking it over your life is an important aspect in the Christian life. If Jesus spoke scripture to Satan in the wilderness, then we can say it to the demon of crisis. You may have seen my post on re-creating your world. If not, check it out now! Saying scripture makes the devil shake-but only if we have chased all anxiety or doubt away! If it is still lurking in the corner it may  not work! God wants us to stand firm in FAITH not FEAR! Fear is the opposite of faith and can affect our spiritual life. It may not always be a facial emotion. It can be an inside fear, a question, a doubt. Something that disobeys the Will of God. This can put a boundary in our

Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

Jesus first, you second!

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. - John 7:38 The rivers described in this verse is basically God's blessing and His Spirit. His Spirit dwells and flows like a stream within us, enabling us to do the things God wants us to do and helping us understand Him. We must always that when the Scriptures say something it is True and we cannot do nothing about it. We must give the Word as it is, no changes for your sermon! Don't change it to 'suit' you. If you are a proper Christian, you would know that it is all about JESUS and NOT you! Jesus is greater and mich more important. He is a priority in life-the best. Pastor Sunny of CKMI said, "If Jesus is not driving the car, He is not in the car. You cannot put Him anywhere else." . The car represents life. If Jesus is not in control of your life, He is not in it. That's how it is. Jesus first, you second!

Lust of the World

This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ - Jeremiah 6:16 God wants us to be on watch-all of the time for the end time and things that may be ahead. We should be on the good path-no matter what the majority are doing. It doesn't matter about what THOSE people are doing! You are a son of the Most High- A god! You reign with Christ, which is greater than anything else on this world! We have said to God, "No! I will not walk in this path," when He has given us the correct path and we wander off on the wrong one, with danger or death around the corner. God has grabbed us from the brisk of death, and we go and leave Him. Let me tell you a story: There was once a farmer who was driving down the road. He found an injured dog lying by the side of the road. The farmer stopped and took him to his car and dro

God is our Stronghold

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1 We don't need to be afraid lf anything! God is the STRONGHOLD of our lives. When we worry or doubt, let's always remember that God keeps us in His hands, always as He is the One who loves us, dwells in us and live in us!

Prophesy, Re-Shape, Re-create!

"“I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.” - Daniel 2:23 (niv) Did you know that praising God and thanking Him for something you KNOW He will do is what God likes from us? Yeah! God wants us to RECREATE our world. We need to speak things into to life to reshape that situation or that crisis. Had a nightmare or bad dream? Re shape it to what YOU want it to be! Just say, "Lord, I command that that nightmare is cancelled and the devil's plan is destroyed in the name of Jesus!". All the power we need to re-make and re-shape our future is in our mouths. God has given us the power of creativity that helps us re shape our world. How do we re-create? We speak to that crisis , situation or sickness and say "Devil! I command you to go! Leave my life and all the pertains to it!". We need to prophesy to that crisis and shape it

Us in God and God in us!

"He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber." - Psalm 121:3 This verse is a powerful reminder that God is ALWAYS watching us and He will never let us slip in our path as we walk with Him. Obstacles make come, obstructions may come, and we may stumble but not slip. " We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—" - 2 Corinthians 4:8,9. God never sleeps looking after us. He doesn't shut His eyes for one simple second. He loves us so much! Many people knew the story and recite it like a fairytale when it's not! Eternal life is the God-type of life. Jesus (God) has given us His own life to live! Hallelujah! God is in us and we are in Him!

Know your part in Christ!

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. " - 1 Thessalonians 3:3. Many Christians call on God. But some of them call on Him in the WRONG WAY. They act as if everything God should sort out and they don't have a role to play. This is WRONG. God has His part to play and we have ours. Sometimes our role may not always seem obvious but we have the Bible God's Word to show us what we need to do when we are in a crisis or in danger. Learning your part is vital in the Christian life-you need to know what your part is. God may not want you to be a pastor, an evangelist, a founder of a ministry, a president of a ministry. This is why this is important. Because you only do what HE wants you to do. What God wants you to do. So you need to learn your part-what God has ins store for you life-as well as your role to play in your walk with God. IT IS ONLY WHEN WE KNOW OUR PART THAT GOD CAN STRENGTHEN US. It is also only when we kno

God in you and you in Him!

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 1 Corinthians 12:13 | NIV God has made us His people-no matter who we are we can come to God! God can help us, renew us and rescue us when we need Him to. We are born into one spirit-one God-it doesn't matter what others say. You are in God and He is in you!

Keep up the Faith!

Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:39 | NIV  Many pastors and preachers misinterpret this verse. What it  means is that when we follow God, we don't keep our life. What I mean is that we don't are about ourselves anymore but we care about God. What Jesus is saying is that if we try to live and be like our old life selves, our search is useless and we are in danger of hell. Jesus never said that following Him would be easy. He said that following Him would never be easy. It is a life of trials and tests as well as the blessings of God.  God always give us strength and fills us with His Spirit so that we can overcome these challenges or obstacles. When we face challenges, we can't blame God. He is the giver of GOOD gifts, remember? "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." - James 1:17 So you se

Revere Christ as Lord!

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." - 1 Peter 3:15. Whenever we are being trialled or tested for our faith, we should never deny it. Take the opportunity to tell them about God. Preach to them and give them the chance to hear about God. It may work, it may not. But all you know is, you accomplished your part of the mission. You've preached to them. Now it's there decision to come to Christ. Notice the Bible says do it with GENTLENESS. We don't use violence to try and preach the Gospel. We don't force people to believe in our reality. We use one of the fruit of the spirit (See Galatians 5:22 for a full list) Now you may wonder why Peter says 'with respect' when God says: "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" - Acts 10:34.

YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE BECAUSE OF GOD!

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16  |NIV God did something amazing-he came down in the flesh and became a sacrifice for our sins. He came and did something we did not deserve-He become our Servant. He laid down His life for his followers. This is something, in our own self-righteousness, we could never have done! Not even if we decided to (which would have probably been impossible)! Our lives are not our own but are still active by and are built on God's mercy. You are NOT here because of your faithfulness. You are NOT here because you have never sinned. You are NOT here for any other reason than this: it is by the grace of God that you are alive and well! Did you know that some people slept but didn't wake up today? You did. You woke up, and ate food. Don't always be thinking about that mate who has a fantastic job, that mate who has a cool car. Have you
