Is Christianity really a Religion?

“Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭NASB‬‬ Many people claim that there is more than one way to Heaven. "After all," they say, "there's more than one way to everything,". Maybe for sin, but not for God. Jesus is the Way to the Father. So no religions can get you to Heaven. Religions contain boundaries. The boundary is the human mind. Religion is basically, spirituality that the mind can take. You may be thinking, wait, isn't Christianity a religion? No. It takes you far more than what the eye can see or what you can hear. It removes all boundaries and unlocks you to an eternal experience with God in Heaven. Religion is a cage. It doesn't get you anywhere. That means Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and all other religions are just there to lock your mind and stop you from seeing the truth. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says: "The god of this age has blinded the minds of un

Anyone can read the Bible! Includes more on Holy Spirit guidance

"No, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" - Romans 8:37 To be conquerors, we fight spiritual wickedness using God's Armour. Many read the Bible and claim to obey and nothing happens. This is because they don't read with God's guidance or don't apply it with faith or, most dangerous, they TEST God.  They don't act by His Word which is basically faith. But then why did God say we shall never touch a stone when falling? He was telling us He would be with us when it does happen, not on purpose. If you go and try that, you're killing yourself for no reason. God's Word can be used for the evil or the good. But when the Holy Spirit reveal the spiritual truths that are locked in His Word, you will be able to teach people and answer there questions. Remember, anyone can read the Bible! 

Pleasing to God

" 16  Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."- Hebrews 13:16 We need to start thinking about what is pleasing to God. I think I may have done this verse before but it's one I really wanted to talk about. Some of the things we do, we hardly care if they please God or not. We don't acknowledge him as much as we should do in our daily lives. Start being pleasing t God!

Supplication, in every situation.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" - Philippians 4:6 NIV Whenever we have problems, we always expect answers as soon as we pray. But we don't realise that God always answers our prayers at the right time. We should not be stressing out over a job sack even though we've prayed for a new job. God always does it at the right time. Who knows? That job sack might have been Jesus trying to prevent you from an accident. No money in the bank? It may be God preserving your money in case robbers attack your bank. What does petition mean? Let's see, I just looked it up and it means, in this case, supplication. And that means asking earnestly and humbly. Don't stop praying when you don't get an answer! Keep praying in supplication!

Stay on the correct path!

15 Then He said to them, "Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions." (‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭15‬ NASB) We, as a people of sin, are greedy and selfish. It is a natural nature for us. But without God's Holy Spirit our attempts are worthless to try and follow the Bible. The Bible doesn't become Holy until it is activated in your spirit through obedience and prayer as well as reading it with God's guidance. Anyone can use the Bible to prove anything and they can use it for their own good. Even a witch could have a bible but use it in the wrong way! God has warned us of greed and pride and selfishnesss but we fall away from the narrow path and go to the broad one. Stay on the correct path which is Jesus ! 

Understanding 2 Corinthians 10:4

Today's verse comes from 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 4. "For our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds," What that means is that God has given us weapons that we cannot see to fight spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. It is not by our might that these weapons defeat this wickedness. It is through God. Zechariah 4 verse 6 says: It is not by might or power but by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:15 says that the battle is not ours but God's. God fights the battle for us through our weapons! Now I know what you may be thinking, what weapons? God gives us a battle plan in Ephesians 6:10-17 of His full Armour. With this armour, we can defeat spiritual beings! It is by God's power that this armour can defeat Satan and his demons! Not by might or power but by the spirit of God!

Real Christmas

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ A glorious merry Christmas to you all! Jesus, God's great and special gift was born around 2000 years ago today. Many say that Xmas is a pagan worship. Well, many years  before Jesus was born, was Xmas there? No. There was evil. And that includes pagan worship! So, Christmas is about Jesus' birth not the drinking and partying about presents! We start drifting away from the point. We drift away from the real point of Christmas. Jesus, the first Christmas present and the best one. 🎁

Pride: A one way ticket to destruction

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:3-4) Pride is a one-way ticket to destruction and arrogance always goes towards a fall (Proverbs 16:18). Pride is one of those demons which take us unknowingly. We just think we're explaining our good points and we suddenly find ourselves boasting. This Christmas, think about being humble like Jesus,  the Saviour who was born on Christmas Day (tomorrow)! 

Believe on the Word

 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. (‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭63‬ NASB) Whenever Jesus say something, it is done. It is done and we just need to give Him time to perform it physically. Romans 4:20-21 talks about Abraham relying on the Word God had told him up till the age of 100 when he had his child. Abraham did not stagger or stumble in faith but believed on what He had prayed for was there. The Bible says that we are not carnal and that faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Abraham beloved on what He had asked along side God's Word and He got what he wanted because He believed on the Word's God gave him! We need to always listen to God! 

Be a little Simpler!

"Pride goes before destruction,      a haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18 NIV  If anyone has the right to be proud, it's God. God is the Creator of the world, the sea, sky and controls our lives. He gives us more chances than we deserve. I can't fit everything in! But we are the ones who are proud. Us, tiny small people, a bit of God's creation who think we're IT. But if anyone's IT, it's God. We don't deserve all this love and kindness, definitely not. But God gave up His only Son, so we can learn His ways and be with Him. When He was angry with us, we carried on our sinful life and He could have wiped us out there and then. But He didn't. When we boasted about our greatness, He could have sent fire to destroy us  there and then. But He didn't. Learn a little humility and be a little simpler! 

Judgement Day : Beware!

 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ NASB)  Jesus saved the world and will judge us not now but on Judgement Day, a Day which many people don't think about. Every thing you say, everything you do will be counted for you or against you on Judgement Day. You only get 1 chance to live this life. This life is more precious than money or toys. It is more precious than the whole world put together.  Live this life for God! Nothing in this world is easy! Living for Christ is worth it though! Remember, live like Christ (Philippians 2:5) and that your actions are either for you or against you when you appear before God on Judgement Day. 

God's instruction Is important

"The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. Psalm 145:17 | NIV" Sometimes we doubt that God is ACTUALLY just, fair and basically...righteous. If God says He is righteous, He is righteous because God NEVER lies! Check it out! A Christian reflects the character of Jesus. And if He is righteous and faithful, then so are we. If Jesus was able to rebuke fears and pray for others, we can to. But be careful! Some things you need the Spirit of God. Otherwise, you're setting yourself up for a destruction. To cast out demons without the Spirit of God, for example. God's instruction is important! 

The Word of God Prt 2

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭NKJV‬  This is proof that Jesus came as the Word of God. The disciples spoke with the Word, talked and even ate with the Word yet they didn't understand Him. This shows, no matter how long you spend in God's Word, you cannot understand It unless God speaks to you and interprets it. It may not mean what you think it means. God's Word can only be understood by His Spirit which is Him! 

Learning to obey God : RAL

“The LORD is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer him sacrifices.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ There is a saying: "Obedience is less painful than regret", which is totally true. When we obey God, we don't need to be sorry by using sacrifice. No matter how hard or how impossible it may seem obedience is better than sacrifice. When we are righteous, we are obeying God. To become righteous we must: - Read our Bible everyday and obey - Always remember to pray, - Listen to what God says, We must RAL to become righteous and obey God this is what we must do. Obeying, praying and listening is a way of becoming just. We can become just by obeying God, through His Word. The law was used to preserve the Israelites. You see, imagine you have no money for your son's XBOX, and you don't want him to cry. You give him a toy for the meanwhile until you have enough money. You PRESERVE the toy. Now we can become just, let us!

Led to lead others

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 | NIV We need to start praising God. Praising God is a way of thanking Him for what He has done. Once God has comforted or helped us, He wants us to help others too. If a friend is in need, we can help them. I am not saying that they should make you there provider for money, but the Bible says that we should help. God comforts us so we can comfort others. God blesses us so we can bless others. God loves us so we can love others. Anything good that God gives you is for you to do the same to others. Reach out for more souls. God wants you to lead others. You came to Christ so that you can lead others to Him and stop the 'blind leading the blind'. You were blessed to bless others. Don't let pride come into you after y

Using Faith...

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love. - Ephesians 3:16-17 NIV Hello, chaps. Today we're talking about faith. Now, before I move on, let me explain what faith is. Or let Hebrews. "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. " (Hebrews 11:1) When we walk in faith, we have confidence in things that may seem not to be there at first. For example, money. We all need money to 'survive' in this world. But if it's not there, we won't believe there is money, right? WRONG. Using faith, we can believe that there is money in the pocket. We have assurance that there is money in the bank. God sees this assurance and make it happen! This is how we walk by faith! What I've learnt:  I can walk in faith by believing and having hope

3 Reasons why some Prayers don't Get Answered.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Sometimes, when we ask for things, we don't get what we wanted. It is because of only 3 reasons: - We don't pray in faith - We don't pray in agreement with God's Will - We haven't had the Name of Jesus given to us. Let's focus on A - We don't pray in faith When we don't pray in faith, God won't answer us. This is because we have to believe in what we are praying for and believe He has already We need to believe in what we are praying for. That is faith. Believing that God has done it. Next - We don't pray in agreement with God's Will. Sometimes when we pray, we don't know if that is what God wants us to pray about. The Reason why we are Living Sin Free Lives!

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬ We shouldn't dwell and trust on our physical wisdom all the time. Physical wisdom doesn't get us anywhere! Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Trust in what? God! With all our heart and not lean on your own understanding! Basically, we shouldn't be trusting our physical wisdom AS A GUIDE IN LIFE! God and His Wisdom should be our guide in life because without Him, we wouldn't be here. Me and you wouldn't be here, living free of sin, if it wasn't for Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ is the reason! 

Learn to be patient!

"God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it?" - Numbers 23:19 ESV Sometimes, when God promises things and things don't look as God said they would, we shouldn't start thinking that God lies to us. Once He has spoken He will fulfil what He has promised! Let's take Abraham and Sarah's example. God had promised them a child and they had to wait ages and ages! Abraham knew that God's promise was true and that it would be fulfilled no matter what happened. God is no man. Meaning He cannot lie to us. Sometimes we just need to be a lot more patient. Things don't just happen immediately! I know a story of a woman who had a huge goitre. She went to a yearly pastor's conference and was prayed for. A year later, she went to the conference again to give her testimony. Her goitre was bigger than ever! The woman went again to give her t

The Word of God living in Us!

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Many people believe that God's Word did not come through the flesh as Jesus. And that the Word of God lives in us! With backing up from the Trinity, we know that the Word of God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus and God are one. Meaning that He has come to live in us. We have seen His glory! Many people believe (not naming name of group of people) believe that God (or Jehovah as they like to call Him) hasn't show us who He is. God came in the flesh through JESUS! God's Word came to us THROUGH JESUS! That is why Jesus said in John 14:9 NIV: "Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?" See? How can you say, show us God if through Jesus we have seen H

Battle of Faith - Faith as our Shield

Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ - Matthew 22:37  We need to listen on this one. Loving God is super important and God loves it when we love Him. When we obey His Word. We face challenges and still love Him. Challenges where the Word is our Sword and the shield is our faith. We fight with righteousness, salvation, faith and the Word of God. In all these things, we show our love for God. We love Him because He died for us! Faith is an  important weapon in our fight for faith. We use it to shield the lies and doubts of the enemy. The shield of faith can be applied by:  - Saying scripture out loud - Applying faith in trouble - Using the Word of God to defend our mind Amen, hallelujah on the battle of faith! 

Grace

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9 With Christ's power we are stronger than ever when we are week we are strong! #dbverses2016 @daily_bible_verses_2016 

"For the battle is not yours, but God's" - 2 Chronicles 20:15

"He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. " - 2 Chronicles 20:15 NIV. Today, I chose this verse based on something I watched. The Faith Kids Movie on YouTube. I think that the situation related there is something that happens to us most of the time. We try to fight the battle, without weapons, by ourselves. When I mean 'fight' I mean solve. But, as 2 Chronicles 20:15 tell us, the battle is not ours but God's. It doesn't matter whatever you may be - a bishop, pastor, priest etc. You must always remember that it is God's battle not yours. Don't try and run the ministry your self! That is a dangerous mission and that is when you create loop holes for the devil to creep into and destroy your life. Do not be afraid no matter how big the situation is! Don't try and solve it yoursel

Love of God!

Let your face shine on your servant;   save me in your unfailing love. - Psalm 31:16 Today, think about this verse today and dwell in God's love. His love can be expressed in many ways. After reading your Bible with God's guidance, you can experience the presence or  love of God. Doing what the Lord says can also do that. Think about that today. 

True Rewards!

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 1:2-3 This verse is another important verse. The trials of many kinds is really trials of many kind. Bullying, financial problems, maybe a new trial! James really meant of many kinds! This is the testing of our faith. So don't go blabbing on about your trial - God is using this to test your faith and this gives us patience and perseverance so the we are experienced and trained to suffer the next trial. When we become Christians we give all for God. He gave all for us and a Christian's life must be full of commitment to Christ. It is not a part time job! It is a job that is 24/7! God requires our full time! All our riches and rewards are stored in Heaven! Jesus said not to worry too much about rewards in this world, for our true reward is stored in Heaven! True Rewards! 

Switch on the Spiritual Mindset Part 1!

“You don’t know where the wind will blow. And you don’t know how a baby grows in its mother’s body. In the same way, God certainly made all things. But you can’t understand what he is doing.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11:5‬ ‭ICB‬‬ Us as people can never understand what God is doing. We know God is doing something but we don't always know why or even how He is doing. The author of Ecclesiastes is asking us these questions to describe a likeness to how we don't know how or why God does things. In other words, we don't know His actions. We know that God is working something out with hundreds of Bible scriptures to back that up but we may not always know when, how or why. It may not go the way we need it to go or how we think it should go. But God is God and He is not human. Our human brains cannot take in all this sense which is why many people find the Bible and Christianity a confusing thing. But it's because they are in the wrong mindset! We should switch on our SPIRITUAL min

Passers by!

“Be happy with the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭GW‬‬ Obeying God will give us our heart desire- IF we do it with God's Spirit and our desire is worthy to bring to God (e.g don't ask for someone or die,). God knows everything, including those thoughts in our hearts. What else does He not know? Satan has blinded these people so that they may not know about God's GLORIOUS Truth! If everyone knew about it, the streets would be filled with people everyday. Almost everybody has been told about Jesus coming to dave the world. They recite it as some type of fairy tale. But that was only the beginning! The end result was to make us heirs in Christ and in God! When we become Heirs in God, we are Over comers and reign with God! If we reign with God, what's the point of listening and paying too much attention to the people in this world when you reign? A pastor once said: "The Christians are passers by in this world" Passers

With the 7 Spirits of God, anything is Possible !

“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ The spirits mentioned in our verse are are the 7 spirits of God. The 7 spirits of God is what a true Holy-spirit filled Christian should have. Wisdom, understanding, counsel, might etc. The might talked about here is spiritual might, being strong in spirit and faith as well as in the Lord. God wants us to be strong in everything God o with Him. We should go to a fire church, read our Bibles daily (in the morning or evening, a Reading Plan may help), pray every week or even every day, and keep our Christian life Christian daily. Our duty is to be 'light in the darkness'. A wise pastor once said "You are the Bible that people read," meaning that people reflect our behaviour and actions as a guide or personal example. Pause and think

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8-9‬ KJV) It is by the gift of God that we have life here and that we are even allowed to live. If you look through the whole Bible, you will find God's mercy in almost all of the stories. We need to pause and think about how merciful God is. 

Learn to be Obedient!

But Samuel replied, "What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice and submission is better than the fat of rams. - 1 Samuel 15:22 Sometimes we need to think. Which is more important? Sacrifices of money or obedience to His Word? 2nd option of course you might say! But the 2nd option is the hardest, especially for Saul. Samuel hadn't appeared yet and he didn't want to give it late. No matter how long or how hard it is, what God has said we must do. MUST. There is no escape. A Christian's life is led by God, meaning obedience is required. If you don't learn how to obedient you will not succeed in your walk with God. You will be stumbling and falling because you cannot listen to that voice of obedience. It doesn't matter how good or great your plan is. If it is not out of obedience but of disobedience it WILL NOT WORK! Your plans are hopeless without God! God is

Truth must be activated!

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; [1] his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. - Lamentations 3:22-23 This verse is what we should obey, everyday. God's mercies are new every morning, fresh. Meaning we never run out of blessings and God's faithfulness is definitely great! The steadfast love of God never ceases, but it doesn't mean we should sin. Sinning is against God law and we know it! Once we become Christians and know the Truth, the Truth will only make us free when we activate it. Truth must be activated! 

Make your choice....

“ For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” – 2 Corinthians 4:20 God is saying here that we shouldn’t be people who gossip or talk about others, or believe what people say. Philippians 2:5 says we should be like Jesus and Isaiah explains Jesus here: A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;     from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. 2  The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—     the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,     the Spirit of counsel and of might,     the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord — 3  and he will delight in the fear of the Lord . He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes,     or decide by what he hears with his ears; 4  but with righteousness he will judge the needy,     with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;     with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. 5  Righteousness will be his belt     and faithfulnes

Where God wants you to be. Plus: finishing of story

"Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honour." - Proverbs 21:21 ESV When we find righteousness and honour (from God) it is because we have obeyed what He said and been where He wanted us to be or do what He wanted us to do. When you persevere and go on for God, you will know it was worth it once the reward is at the end. Paul said: "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." - Philippians 3:14 NLT. We should never worry but trust God, knowing that we need to get where God wants us to be or do what He wants us to do, no matter what. On with the story.... Show the Devil he Made a Mistake!

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord , make me dwell in safety." - Psalm 4:8 ESV The place where God wants us to be, is the place where God is and where He can provide us safety. Satan always wants to pull us out of the place where of wants us to be. For example... You are going to church. Little do you know, God is about to perform something miraculous and His presence will be so strong and your money problems will be solved. But the devil doesn't like that one bit! He makes your car battery run down. You can't walk- it's too long. Taxi will cost too much. Oh no! It doesn't seem like you'll ever get to church! Satan will put you in position where you will seem helpless and will prevent you from achieving your destiny in Christ, or stopping your from being where God wants you to be. Satan knows that if you reach your potential in Christ, it will be almost impossible for him to get to you when you are deep in God. And I me

Standing on the Rock

“That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬ It is everyone duty, as the writer of Ecclesiastes tells us, to fear God and obey His commands. But why doesn't everyone obey them, you may ask? Well, God doesn't FORCE you to follow Him. But when you do follow Him an He has shown himself to you in a miraculous way, no matter what happens, you will keep walking with Jesus and resist that temptation. When you  are where God wants you to be, the Devil will use anything to pull you out of there because he knows that that is a place of healing, deliverance and a place of God. The Devil will use friends, offence, conflict, accidents to stop you from getting to your destinations or to get you out. But these things will come but when you stand firm on the Word of God and the Spirit of Christ is inside you, not one offence, conflict, friend or accident can stop you from being who and

But when we moan, we never think about the suffering of Jesus. Jesus didn't moan an grumble at God! Jesus took our sacrifice and pain and died for us. Us people who rebelled miilions and millions of times, and God gave us millions and millions of chances. God could have given up on us. But we just stand there and sit there monaing, grumbling and complaining. What about Jesus?

Trust in Psalm 91!

Verse: I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence. - Psalm 91:2-3 In Him I will trust. Wow. Such powerful words. It would be so easy to say this-but to actually mean it it is at least 10 times harder. I mean- put yourself in this position: You've just got back from  the hospital, your baby is in your hands. It suddenly stops breathing and its face goes cold. What do you do? Most people would worry and get anxious or maybe even give up completely about their child. But would your really obey Psalm 91:2-3? Will you really trust in Him? Trust in God? Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 19:26: "...everything is possible with God". Everything is possible with God! Restoration of life is possible, money in the bank is possible, that new job you want is possible! BUT THESE CAN ONLY HAPPEN WHEN YOU OBEY PSALM 91:2-3! Obeying God's Word a

“First, you must understand this: In the last days people who follow their own desires will appear. People are following their own desires and twisting and bending the Bible to prove themselves 'right'. But in reality, they are foolishly proving themselves wrong. Even MORE wrong. When we read the Bible, we are allowed to explain its meaning but not prove something you know God wouldn't like. You might say, "I don't have any blessings!" but you do! God has given you a life which is a gift and does NOT belong to you. The Scapegoat and Sacrifice

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1 Genesis 1-3 talks about God's creation of man-Adam and Eve. Adam fell in spirit, and died in spirit. He couldn't rely on God anymore, but on his 5 senses only. Adam couldn't come close to God anymore because His presence had now become dangerous.  Wait, if God's presence is good, how can it be dangerous? God is like the sun, the thing that shines down and gives us sunlight. It is good, because we get Vitamin D from it. But if something gets to close to it...BOOM! If we are impure or 'unclean' and decide to come into God's presence just like that, you will surely be wiped out! Adam was now impure-sinful because He disobeyed God's commandment. Don't worry! Trust!

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight - 1 Peter 3:3-4. A gentle and quiet spirit is one in the care of the Lord. When we are in the care of Jesus, nothing else matters. We don't need to worry about the things of the world for these things don't matter! We are in the care of the Creator of the universe! A God that is more powerful than our brains can think or imagine! When we become Christians, we don't care about what's happening in the world! Jesus is the Son of God with great power and might! Jesus is almighty and the world is under His feet! What reason do you have to worry? None! When Jesus is on top (which He always is), there is no reason to worry! In fact, worrying is going to make a problem worse! Let's not worry but trust! -------

God's Power

“With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭ICB God's power can do a lot than what we think or imagine. God can do, as the ICB translation puts it, much, much more than we can imagine. God has clever and smart ways of helping us and providing for us in trouble. He will do it in a way that you will be surprised at. Or even that you wouldn't believe! Jesus is the one that should be glorified in church. So why do Catholics pray to Mary? Now I advise if you are a Catholic to stop reading and unfollow me. What I am about to write is truth. Tough truth. Anyway... Catholics are very wrong to put Mary as someone to pray too. God says in Exodus 20:3 "You must not have any other gods except me." A god is something that is either in-line or above Jesus in your life.  It can also be an image or 'god

Double-edged sword

“When I worried about many things, your assuring words soothed my soul.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭94:19‬ ‭GW‬‬T When we worry, it is either of doubt or fear. Worry is not of God. Peace is and this is one of the fruit of the Spirit mention in Galatians 5:22. God's Word is sharper than any double-edged sword and is much more powerful than any weapon in the world! Why go buy a physical gun or weapon when you have this Sword? There really is no point! God has given you more authority than you can ever imagine and you want to "underestimate" it? Whoa man, dangerous choice, dangerous mission. You cannot walk with God without His Word! The simple letters in the Bible cannot save you! It is the Word of God in your spirit that can save you and it is only God that can help you! God is the real person that can help you, the only person that created you and knows you truly! Let your faith grow!

But if a person has doubts and still eats, he is condemned because he didn’t act in faith. Anything that is not done in faith is sin. - Romans 14:23 Whoa. That verse is powerful. Anything done without faith is sin. I read this this morning and thought it would be a great verse for today. If we don't preach, act or evangelise in faith, we, as Christians, are sinning against God. Everything a Christian does must be done in FAITH! In FAITH, not FEAR! Everything we do must be done in FAITH. We must: * Pray, * Eat, * Sleep, and do everything else in faith. God wants us to live and work in faith. A Christian's walk with God has to be one of faith and not of doubt. We don't walk in faith! God says that faith is like a mustard seed, and once planted and watered, grows to be strong and great. Once we activate faith, it can be the smallest, but we have planted a seed of faith which, if we choose to, can grown and grow and be the strongest its ever been! Faith grows! You cannot

All because of God,

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. - Romans 12:9 When we love God, we should think of it as: - [ ] Hating what is evil - [ ] Showing uttermost sincerity and seriousness to God. - [ ]  Clinging to Him, because He is good. God wants us to respect Him and cling on to what is good. Let me just throw in Proverbs 10:29: "The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,     but it is the ruin of those who do evil.". When God means ruin, He means that it will not 'fit' them who are in charge of evil (aka Satan and his demons). The Way of God does not work for demons. They know it is true and right and will lead people to Heaven. And they don't want that. So they divert people off the main road-the road to God! Satan will come with lies, doubts, anything really! In FAITH not FEAR!

When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. - Psalm 56:3  This verse may seem small but its message is very powerful. When you are afraid. This could mean when you are in doubt, are anxious and full of fear. When I  afraid, I put my trust in You. Say it! "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You". Saying scripture and speaking it over your life is an important aspect in the Christian life. If Jesus spoke scripture to Satan in the wilderness, then we can say it to the demon of crisis. Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self! 

Jesus first, you second!

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. - John 7:38 The rivers described in this verse is basically God's blessing and His Spirit. His Spirit dwells and flows like a stream within us, enabling us to do the things God wants us to do and helping us understand Him. We must always that when the Scriptures say something it is True and we cannot do nothing about it. We must give the Word as it is, no changes for your sermon! Don't change it to 'suit' you. If you are a proper Christian, you would know that it is all about JESUS and NOT you! Jesus is greater and mich more important. He is a priority in life-the best. Pastor Sunny of CKMI said, "If Jesus is not driving the car, He is not in the car. You cannot put Him anywhere else." . The car represents life. If Jesus is not in control of your life, He is not in it. That's how it is. Jesus first, you second! 

Lust of the World

This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ - Jeremiah 6:16 God wants us to be on watch-all of the time for the end time and things that may be ahead. We should be on the good path-no matter what the majority are doing. It doesn't matter about what THOSE people are doing! You are a son of the Most High- A god! You reign with Christ, which is greater than anything else on this world! We have said to God, "No! I will not walk in this path," when He has given us the correct path and we wander off on the wrong one, with danger or death around the corner. God has grabbed us from the brisk of death, and we go and leave Him. Let me tell you a story: There was once a farmer who was driving down the road. God is our Stronghold

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1 We don't need to be afraid lf anything! God is the STRONGHOLD of our lives. When we worry or doubt, let's always remember that God keeps us in His hands, always as He is the One who loves us, dwells in us and live in us! 

Prophesy, Re-Shape, Re-create!

"“I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.” - Daniel 2:23 (niv) Did you know that praising God and thanking Him for something you KNOW He will do is what God likes from us? Yeah! God wants us to RECREATE our world. We need to speak things into to life to reshape that situation or that crisis. Had a nightmare or bad dream? Re shape it to what YOU want it to be! Just say, "Lord, I command that that nightmare is cancelled and the devil's plan is destroyed in the name of Jesus!". All the power we need to re-make and re-shape our future is in our mouths. God has given us the power of creativity that helps us re shape our world. How do we re-create? We speak to that crisis , situation or sickness and say "Devil! I command you to go! Leave my life and all the pertains to it!". We need to prophesy to that crisis and shape it

Us in God and God in us!

"He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber." - Psalm 121:3 This verse is a powerful reminder that God is ALWAYS watching us and He will never let us slip in our path as we walk with Him. Obstacles make come, obstructions may come, and we may stumble but not slip. " We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—" - 2 Corinthians 4:8,9. God never sleeps looking after us. He doesn't shut His eyes for one simple second. He loves us so much! Many people knew the story and recite it like a fairytale when it's not! Eternal life is the God-type of life. Jesus (God) has given us His own life to live! Hallelujah! God is in us and we are in Him!

Know your part in Christ!

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. " - 1 Thessalonians 3:3. Many Christians call on God. But some of them call on Him in the WRONG WAY. They act as if everything God should sort out and they don't have a role to play. This is WRONG. God has His part to play and we have ours. Sometimes our role may not always seem obvious but we have the Bible God's Word to show us what we need to do when we are in a crisis or in danger. Learning your part is vital in the Christian life-you need to know what your part is. God may not want you to be a pastor, an evangelist, a founder of a ministry, a president of a ministry. This is why this is important. Because you only do what HE wants you to do. What God wants you to do. So you need to learn your part-what God has ins store for you life-as well as your role to play in your walk with God. IT IS ONLY WHEN WE KNOW OUR PART THAT GOD CAN STRENGTHEN US. God in you and you in Him!

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 1 Corinthians 12:13 | NIV God has made us His people-no matter who we are we can come to God! God can help us, renew us and rescue us when we need Him to. We are born into one spirit-one God-it doesn't matter what others say. You are in God and He is in you! 

Keep up the Faith!

Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:39 | NIV  Many pastors and preachers misinterpret this verse. What it  means is that when we follow God, we don't keep our life. What I mean is that we don't are about ourselves anymore but we care about God. What Jesus is saying is that if we try to live and be like our old life selves, our search is useless and we are in danger of hell. Jesus never said that following Him would be easy. He said that following Him would never be easy. It is a life of trials and tests as well as the blessings of God.  God always give us strength and fills us with His Spirit so that we can overcome these challenges or obstacles. When we face challenges, we can't blame God. He is the giver of GOOD gifts, remember? "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." - James 1:17 So you se

Revere Christ as Lord!

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." - 1 Peter 3:15. Whenever we are being trialled or tested for our faith, we should never deny it. Take the opportunity to tell them about God. Preach to them and give them the chance to hear about God. It may work, it may not. But all you know is, you accomplished your part of the mission. You've preached to them. Now it's there decision to come to Christ. Notice the Bible says do it with GENTLENESS. We don't use violence to try and preach the Gospel. We don't force people to believe in our reality. We use one of the fruit of the spirit (See Galatians 5:22 for a full list) Now you may wonder why Peter says 'with respect' when God says: "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" - Acts 10:34.

YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE BECAUSE OF GOD!

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16  |NIV God did something amazing-he came down in the flesh and became a sacrifice for our sins. He came and did something we did not deserve-He become our Servant. He laid down His life for his followers. This is something, in our own self-righteousness, we could never have done! Not even if we decided to (which would have probably been impossible)! Our lives are not our own but are still active by and are built on God's mercy. You are NOT here because of your faithfulness. You are NOT here because you have never sinned. You are NOT here for any other reason than this: it is by the grace of God that you are alive and well! Did you know that some people slept but didn't wake up today? You did. You woke up, and ate food. Don't always be thinking about that mate who has a fantastic job, that mate who has a cool car. Righteous God

The  Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. Psalm 145:17 | NIV Sometimes we  doubt that God is actually fair, just and basically righteous. Job in the Bible thought the same thing too, and God appeared to Him, telling Job that he didn't understand the world in they way He knew it. God's justice is the best for us. Now, BEFORE you go blaming God for stuff, let's think about God. God sent His Son Jesus to die for us-even though we did not deserve it. God's justice and wrath could have been boiled over and mankind would be gone. That is what His Law demanded. Anybody who sinned was in danger of death. But God provided a way for us to be with Him and this is where we should stay. How can we say that God's justice is unfair when He did that? So let's think about and thank God for what He did.  Jesus is a fair person a God who loves us and expects good from us. Follow Him today. 

Pleasing and obeying God

"His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’" - Matthew 25:21 Sometime God puts us in charge of little things to test us. We should take advantage of the opportunity and serve God best in this time. God tests almost all the time! You might not see it everyday but God is almost always testing us. When you lose your smartphone for example, God might be testing you to see how much you REALLY love Him. Anyone can say that they love God but they need to SHOW it. When we are faithful to God's laws in times of testing God can put us in charge of many things. We make Jesus happy when we do what He says in His Word, with the Holy Spirit guiding us like I said on Friday. His Word is the path to our lives. "The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple." - Psalm 119:130 Those who are 'simple'

Hebrews 10:29

How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace. - Hebrews 10:29

Strong when I'm weak

" That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight  in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,  in persecutions,  in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." -  2 Corinthians 12:10 Many of us complain about being a Christian because of hardships or persecutions. Look at how much Paul had to face and his heart wails and breaks with pain but he is happy! Happy! And our pain is not as great as what Jesus did on the cross-so you can stop whining mister(or mistress). When I am weak, I am strong. What does this ACTUALLY mean?  Basically, you are on an aircraft. A report comes in that it's lost 2 of its engines. What do you do? This is when you are weak. But then you remember the Gospel of Christ. Your spirit then becomes strong and your hope is reassured. And God saves you and everyone else. So you see, when YOU are weak, YOU are strong.

Keep yourself in control with the Holy Spirit guiding!

"Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control." - Proverbs 25:28 Not controlling your self is sometimes a good thing. But it isn't always! For example, temper. Losing your temper to often is something that the devil can use to try and pull you into his kingdom. Getting angry or not being wise can all be used against you if they are not your 'strong points'. God knows we do get weak and have weaknesses but Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that God helps us the MOST in our weaknesses. We are most helped when we are weak. We should have control of ourselves, our bodily functions is what I mean. Our spirit should be controlled by the Holy Spirit and this is what will give you self-control. Self control is one of the fruit of the Spirit (See Galatians 5:22 for a full list). Sometimes, when we lose control of ourselves it is by God. For example, you could be in a dangerous position. Brought to Fulness in Christ-Colossians 2:9-10

"For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority." - Colossians 2:9-10  Some people believe that there is some greater power than Christ, above Christianity, and where you can become a God.
