What is fellowship? Learn about fellowship in this devotional...

"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with One another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
If we walk in the light like Jesus, we walk with Him and can 'fellowship' with Him.
Question: What is fellowship?
Answer:  This is talking and praying and fasting as well as keeping God's commandments. So, praying to God about anything, keeping God's Word stored in your heart, and keeping your faith or fasting. Keeping in total fellowship with God gives you great blessings. You must cling to Jesus, follow His every step, and keep moving on. Including when there are distractions and/or temptations. God guides you and you must cling to Him and accept Him as your Leader. "He who clings to, relies on and beloved in Him, will not be judged" - John 3:18. The judging part means as to to Sheol, likewise known as Hell. The blood of Jesus Christ washes us from our impurity and the Name of Jesus is powerful. This verse leads me onto to my next section: "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God" - Exodus 20:7. We know that God is God, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. So, we must not misuse any of these names. E.g make fun or jeer at them. Because the verse/s go onto to say that God will not let you go unpunished. So, using God's name is important! Walking in God's light will get you closer to Jesus.
Question: Doe sGod punish people?
Answer: No, He does not. It is the Devil who punishes.
Question: But why does God let Satan punish them?
Answer: This is because of sin. God cannot accept it. And the Devil knows every life is valuable. So He trusts and strives to get your souls. Once one has been unacceptable,  He snatches it. SEE Matthew 13.
Walk in the light!  Please feel free to share this to anyone (with our credit mentioned), to anyone who may be encouraged by it.

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Inspiration Word - 4/26/18

The strength for our conquering and our victory should not be reliant on ourselves, but continually on Christ. The Bible does not teach that sin is completely eradicated from the Christian in this life, but it does teach that sin shall no longer reign over you. The strength and power of sin have been broken. The Christian now has resources available to live above and beyond sin and the world. Whosoever is born of God does not practice sin. It is like the little girl who said that when the devil came knocking with a temptation, she just sent Jesus to the door. Daily Prayer Lord Jesus, I need Your power continually. You know how many times I am tempted. Help me to not be reliant on myself.

DON'T LOOK BACK!

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:38-39 KJV http://bible.com/1/heb.10.38-39.kjv  Many of us, when we face troubles or hardships we just give up. 1 year, 2 years then we just give up. Or, even worse, we start to think about joining the world again, drawing back from our eternal life. Satan will give you hardships and challenges, but these are not to destroy you, but strengthen you.  This is why we must not give up. God uses our challenges to strengthen us. We must not draw back from our faith. Jesus told us this: “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 KJV http://bible.com/1/luk.9.62.kjv So don't look back, back at your past life and start thinking about the world. Focus on Jesus, and remem...
