Who is the god of this world? Why is he god? Learn more about 2 Corinthians 4:4...

"Satan, the God of this world, has blinded the mind of those who do not believe so that they may not see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message of the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God" - 2 Corinthians 4:4

Now, you may be buzzing with this question: Who is the God of this world? Is it not God?
Answer: Even though #God is #God and #supremeruler , this world is not...ruled by Him. Because of its sin. God cannot look at or beyond sin. So, where did I get this from?
"The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you." John 15:19. If you read the rest if the chapter you will know that it is Jesus speaking. We are in the world, to save it. But we are not of it. We do not belong to it. We are not its children. We are just in it, as our bodies should be. But our spirit is different. Our spirits belong to God. Our mission is to give light to this blinded world. Satan has blinded them, so that they are running around catching what they think is something, but is just thin air. Hold on...another question:
But God loves people, doesn't He? Why does He let them be blinded by Satan?
Answer:
It is because of sin. As much as He'd like to, God has to remain pure and these people have sin staining their spirit. Satan doesn't take any chances in snatching souls to fulfil his mission (SEE John 10:10)

We let ourselves be blinded by what we want. By our worldly selves. We ignore our spiritual selves forgetting we are not of the world. We are lights of the world!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Inspiration Word - 4/26/18

The strength for our conquering and our victory should not be reliant on ourselves, but continually on Christ. The Bible does not teach that sin is completely eradicated from the Christian in this life, but it does teach that sin shall no longer reign over you. The strength and power of sin have been broken. The Christian now has resources available to live above and beyond sin and the world. Whosoever is born of God does not practice sin. It is like the little girl who said that when the devil came knocking with a temptation, she just sent Jesus to the door. Daily Prayer Lord Jesus, I need Your power continually. You know how many times I am tempted. Help me to not be reliant on myself.

DON'T LOOK BACK!

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:38-39 KJV http://bible.com/1/heb.10.38-39.kjv  Many of us, when we face troubles or hardships we just give up. 1 year, 2 years then we just give up. Or, even worse, we start to think about joining the world again, drawing back from our eternal life. Satan will give you hardships and challenges, but these are not to destroy you, but strengthen you.  This is why we must not give up. God uses our challenges to strengthen us. We must not draw back from our faith. Jesus told us this: “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 KJV http://bible.com/1/luk.9.62.kjv So don't look back, back at your past life and start thinking about the world. Focus on Jesus, and remem...
