God's done it, and I rely on it! Exodus 14:13-14

Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.'"-
Exodus 14:13-14 NIV

Sometimes we just worry to much. I can admit it! But we must learn to stand our ground in Christ and just watch. Just watch and see the deliverance the Lord is building for you. Sometimes we just have to wait for God and believe it is done. He knows what He's doing and the wait is always worth it! Because God is the Creator of the best! Here's a quote:

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" -
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

So why must we worry? We have God's scripture to rely upon! Hold on, I feel another quote coming!

"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?" -
Numbers 23:19 NIV

God is not human. Answer the scripture yourself. Does Jesus promise and not fulfil? No. He always promises and we should just relax! Even if it is for little while. God has never forgotten you! You just need to say: God's done it, and I rely on it. Whatever you've been praying for, just say this now and meditate on God's Word and whatever you desired is coming to pass! But only if it is God's Will! Remember that!

Sometimes we're a bit lazy when we see these deliverance verses. We think that: God is my deliverer. I don't need to do anything. But that's wrong! We still need to keep our ground as Exodus 14:13-14 describes: Moses answered the people, 'Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.'"
Did you see my point? If you haven't noticed yet, stand firm is in bold and underlined linking to what I said earlier. stand firm on the Rock of Jesus. Then, put your full trust in Him will no doubt still lurking in your mind. Now, deliverance will rise for you!

Verses on standing firm in the faith:
1 Peter 5:9
But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...
