Obey Your Parent - The Lord

"Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right" - Ephesians 6:1
This verse does not only apply to our kids. It also applies to us too, as God's children. We must obey our Parent in the Lord. This verse does not only talk about OBEYING but also about IN THE LORD. In the Lord not just with more actions or words as James described it. It is right and makes us righteous when we obey.
How do we obey God?
By reading His word and listening. We ask, but we need to listen to God's reply. He knows what is best. Our pride leads to our destruction and God's spirit leads to blessing. When we are blessed, we need to sustain it by CONTINUING our biblical duties. Otherwise, we gain nothing. We must be thankful, prayerful, fully-biblical and soberful. OBEY YOUR PARENT IN THE LORD.
