Unstable faith or Unshakeable faith: Which do you have?

"Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him." - Hebrews 11:6

Atheists claim that when they ask God For dorm thing, it never happens. This is because:

A) They don't believe He exists
B) They are testing His abilities, which goes against God's law

Our faith can be weakened by stories and lies that people tell you, just to make you doubt. And when doubt is being introduced into your mind, your faith weakens and isn't as strong as it was before. "When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." - James 1:6 Two important points here:

This is proof of what I mean when I talked about unstable faith because of doubting.

This is also proof of believing is seeing. When we believe, we are seeing things in a different point of view to others.
" Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come about and the certainty that what we cannot see exists." - Hebrews 11:1.
When we have faith and believe, others may say, 'No, your finances are going to stay low, low, low' but you say, 'Yes, my finances are going up, up, up' even when nothing seems to be happening after some weeks. That seed of faith will start to grow and grow that when your desire is reached, it will come with more blessings rewarding you for your faith.
"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” - Luke 6:38 NASB
"When people are cast down, you will say I am lifted up" - Job 22:29
As I talked about yesterday, we are different from the world! Our faith should be unshakeable faith, not unstable faith. Putting yourself with bad and non-Christian company can lead incorrect and contrary-to-God's-Word thoughts into your mind. Very seen these start to turn into stable matters if you are not fully developed into the Word of God. When you are fully into God's Word and have it in your spirit, no one can lie or put doubts into your mind. You have unshakeable  faith. Unshakeable faith says: If God says it then it's true!
Jesus speaks to us through His Word and His spirit lives within us. Tomorrow I'll talk more on unshakeable faith.

CONFESSIONS:
I am rooted in the Rock of Christ and my faith is unshakeable. I am fully developed in God's Word. God's spirit is living and working in me! In Jesus Name, Amen

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...

Acting on God's Word....

"Do not merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. practice it and do what it says." - James 1:22 Today I wanted to talk to you about the Bible's power. Many atheists and other non-Christians believe that the Bible is not true, but THEY haven't meditated on the Word that they heard from Church, study etc. Let's take a look at what Jesus said: " They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.   49  But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.'" Any questions? OK. But HOW do I 'practice and do' what God's Word says?  You make sure that whatever it says, has effect on your life. What I mean to say is, make sur...

Pondering the Bible: How to deal with anger

"Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires." James 1:20 NLT http://bible.com/116/jas.1.20.nlt Let’s admit it, we all deal with anger sometimes. But some more than most. When we do get angry, we get this overwhelming sense of bitterness and malice that is sometimes uncontrollable. This brings us to today’s question: How do you deal with anger?  Well, satan will always keep on trying to do things to make you angry. And as soon as you give in and never let it go, you have failed and satan can hold you back.  Here’s how to deal with it:  The Bible says that when you are angry you should not let it carry over to the next morning.  "And "don’t sin by letting anger control you." Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry," Ephesians 4:26 NLT http://bible.com/116/eph.4.26.nlt This means you may only be angry for some time. But I wouldn’t for long:  "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be...
