Unsearchable Things

Verse: "‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’" - Jeremiah 33:3.

Message : Sometimes we don't call out to God. But little do we know that He will teach us things that are 'unsearchable' . We ignore God, full of pride that says: 'God doesn't knew anything, after all, I'm on earth and He's in Heaven, I know earth better." Full of that attitude could make God retrieve His eternal life from you - but He doesn't. He's still inviting - but has to let you go astray, why? Because God does not like sin. Many propel say- 'I'm not perfect - God knows that' Yes, He knows that. And He has provided a way for you to be perfect. By believing in Jesus Christ.
"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9. Many people doubt God's existence and presence. But He is trying to save us from - what? What? The god of this world, that is full of lies, deceit and tricks. If only people would accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and, as long as they sustain they're faith, the devil will not be able to even look at you! Why? Christ's power has been transferred to us - in fact Christ is in us! Jesus was the first begotten, and we're the second of Him!

"So ever since we first heard about you we have kept on praying and asking God to help you understand what he wants you to do; asking him to make you wise about spiritual things; and asking that the way you live will always please the Lord and honour him, so that you will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time you are learning to know God better and better." - Colossians 1:9-10

You see, Paul is telling the church in Colossi to be learning God's Will. We can do that through reading and saying scripture. And also putting it into effect in our lives. It doesn't end there - everything you watch, do or make has to have everything to do with Him. Yes - that includes TRUE Christian movies with around only 10% violence in them. Anything can try to tweak your faith and Satan will carve it in a way that is so real - but if you are spiritually minded, you will see His traps and turn them around!

Prayer/Confession: Lord, I now understand my power in Christ and pray for those who do not know it yet. I pray that you give me spiritual understanding, to be understanding Your Will - like your Son did. I now put Your Word into action daily and to be an example of love and You in my world, in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

"But the water I give them,” he said, “becomes a perpetual spring within them, watering them forever with eternal life.” - John 4:14

We must turn to Jesus for everything and learn to understand His will.

The Godly Godliness

1 Timothy 4:7 -  7  Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales;  rather, train yourself to be godly.  The godliness Paul is talking about here means piety to God, a revered holiness. What do I mean? Well, on what we do we should have a holiness for him. Our clothing, people should be able to say 'this is a real Christian'. Our behaviour should also have a holiness. A fear of God. As the Bible says, the fear of God gives life. This holiness is about the things you do, how you respond to God and to the things of God. Our character influences the way we live and what we do-it's the way people determine who you are, for it is always the inner man the speaks out. They are books and magazines you shouldn't read, things you shouldn't watch and games you shouldn't play. The excuse 'it's Christian' won't work this time! Watch with your children - make sure you are sure of what they watch. Never forget who you are in Christ: His own, o...

STOP HOLDING ONTO FLESH!

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21 KJV http://bible.com/1/jhn.14.21.kjv We can see from this verse that a true follower of Jesus obeys his commands. But why do we find it difficult to follow Jesus? It’s because we are still holding onto flesh. We don’t want to let go, we think we can be both of God and of the flesh. But for you to work with God, the flesh must be dead. The flesh is your mind, emotions and your will. I repeat, God cannot work with you if the flesh is still alive. We cannot still hold on to the flesh. We are still sitting on the fence, not going in or out. Jesus said: “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 KJV http://bible.com/1/rev.3.16.kjv Let’s stop holding onto the flesh!

Pondering the Bible: How can a good God allow evil?

""The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jer.17.9.nkjv Q:  How can a good God allow evil?  This is the question I get from many Christianity skeptics. Well, let’s think all the way back to the beginning. God gave Adam and Eve a choice. To remain in His goodness, and enjoy a peaceful, free life, or go their own way and define good and evil for yourself. We all know what happened. The point I’m trying to make is,  man chose to do evil.  If you decide to deliberately burn yourself by putting your hand in an oven, you can’t blame the cook for that. It’s the same thing!  Man chose to do evil.  Well, why can’t God get rid of evil?  Do you want to remove your existence? Well, God doesn’t. You see, if God removed evil, He would have to remove man in the process, as man is evil. But He found a way to remove evil from us without wiping us out. He sent Jesus to die for u...
