Transformed! The Image of God. (Part 1)




"The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel, might and the fear of the Lord" - Isaiah 11:2

We as Christians have what Jesus has. We have power, we have wisdom, we have everything we ever needed. But we just need a bit of an update and/or an activation. Before you use an app, do the details for your account just pop up? No. You need to activate it, just as we need to here. Or we need to update. We can find out amazing truths about God, through His Word. If we need understanding, we just unlock or activate it and the Holy Spirit guides us into that particular scripture. 

Are there any other religions that lead to Heaven?
No. Jesus said so: "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6. The Father (God) lives in Heaven, so the only way to It is through Jesus only that we get to Heaven. 

Why are the other religions here? Why doesn't Jesus destroy them all? 
The Bible says that the world is corrupt, and the god of this world (Satan - 2 Corinthians 4:4) has blinded them so they may not see the truth and be saved from the evil clutches of sin. Proof texts: 
Romans 1:28 
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 
2 Corinthians 4:4 
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

I just want to point out a marvellous fact about our power in Christ. We are the light of the Gospel, and the image of God. Look at this: 
2 Corinthians 3:18 
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

We need to keep our image in Christ, and not forget it. We must know that, whatever happens, will remain the glory of Christ. We are transformed into a new creation, fully-embodied with the power of Christ. This power was given to raise, restore and deliver but most importantly to SAVE.  

Seek
And
Value the lost souls on
Earth

We have power but we just need to activate it and understand what it is worth. If the whole world knew, there would be no room for Church.
What does the power of the Lord do?

Psalm 93:1
The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

We reign over the Earth! But we are tempted. The devil knows this to. He wants to get us into his loop holes and drag us out of this, spectacular power! We gain strength and learn how to maintain and use our power correctly by reading god’s Word, as the Spirit guides.

Humble Is Best!

Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133  |  NIV   We need to let God's Word rule our lives, directing our footsteps on our journey through life. God is our Director leading us-even of the path LOOKS right, it doesn't mean it IS right. God knows best so we shouldn't be no-it-alls. Humble your self!

What is the wisdom of the world to God? FOOLISHNESS!

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.” 1 Corinthians 3:19 KJV http://bible.com/1/1co.3.19.kjv You see, for new born believers, it takes a while for the fact that they cannot be loved by or be part of the world. Unfortunately, this is usually found out after devastating consequences. In this chapter of 1 Corinthians, verse 19, Paul talks about the Wisdom of God being foolishness to the world. This portrays the relationship between a Christian and the world. THEIR SHOULD'NT BE ONE. No-one can sit on the fence. For those of you trying, you still will belong to the darkness. Until you take a step of faith to reach the light, you and your darkness remain. After becoming a Christian, you are made holy.
